Drgnslyer Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 Renshikan for myselfmy club used to train Chito-Ryu...renshikan is very similar, but to my understanding *i just started again after a while off, and i left just after the switch* it's effectively Chito Ryu with some shotokan Think before you act, but act before it's too late.http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/3535/siggydemo58lq.jpg(Images aren't allowed, but if you want, take a peek for yourself ^ )
Kajukenbopr Posted August 7, 2005 Posted August 7, 2005 I dont remember if I already answered here, but I'll answer again:Tang Soo Do Karate <> Be humble, train hard, fight dirty

Goju 4 Life Posted August 21, 2005 Posted August 21, 2005 I practice Goju Ryu and Shorin Ryu If i had to choose between karate and everything else, I would choose karate so i could beat up whoever made me make the decision and have everything else
crispy_duck Posted August 21, 2005 Posted August 21, 2005 I started to do Go-Kan-Ryu, but found the lessons were undisciplined and sloppy, with there being many unruly kids there who made a mockery of the whole art with constant folling around and chatting - I switched to Wado-Ryo, which I believe is the traditional form of Karate, and I find it much better - the kids there are well-behaved (they get press-ups if they're not!), and the sensei really pushes you to the max, which i think is what it's all about.
Rikishi Posted August 21, 2005 Posted August 21, 2005 Goju-Ryu One year later.....! Japan again..This time to win, and not to get injured I HOPE!
Drgnslyer Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 hrmm....guess that happens to you when youv'e been out of training for a while Renshikan...i have a correction, blend chito ryu and shito ryu...i've had quite a bit of training in different techniques related to me as origionating from shotokan, or similar to...in my own defence Think before you act, but act before it's too late.http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/3535/siggydemo58lq.jpg(Images aren't allowed, but if you want, take a peek for yourself ^ )
KaratePballer54 Posted August 31, 2005 Posted August 31, 2005 If I had to put a title on it I'd say Shotokan but it's really a mixture of different arts and I'm still trying to grasp what those different arts are "Mr. Miyagi, can you break through a log like that??""Don't know, never been attack by tree before."-Ketsuke Miyagi
