IMGONNABEUSMC
I have been reading a book called "Living the Martial Way". This book talks about if you want to become a well rounded and effective Martial Artist or warrior you must be dedicated to your art or arts. It is a good book and I suggest reading it. "Do not seek to follow in the footsteps of the wise. Seek what they sought."Basho"To win one hundred victories in one hundred battles is not the highest skill. To subdue the enemy without fighting is the highest skill."Sun Tsu

Shorin Ryuu
I've read that book, and I liked a lot of what it said. It really speaks to me, a member of the armed services, and what it means to truly be a warrior, as opposed to someone who just does martial arts. It was one of the few books that I've read and voiced a lot of the same opinions that I've had for a while.
