Ive been studying up, and practicing some choke holds..

From what ive learned, air chokes seem foolish, and dangerous.

A well placed blood choke can take somone out in 4-6 seconds without any negative effects.

However, i cant seem to successfuly pull off a blood choke, dizzyness seems to come, but even after holding for 30+ seconds there is no blackouts

maybe im doing this wrong, could somone explain to me how this shold be done?

I mainly ask because a blood choke can be VERY dangerous if improperly executed.

Im a posting fiend today....

Blood chokes is performed correctly are really good (or bad depending on what side you are on). If you are not getting the right results you are not applying pressure to the right place, or you are leaving gaps, or you are not using boi-mechanically sound principles.

Blood chokes are great...again...depending on whether youre giving or getting...lol.....no matter how long you can hold your breath.....it means nothing when its a blood choke......doing it correctly means that youve stopped the flow of blood in the two major arteries on the sides of the neck.......just look at an anatomical chart to see where they are, and take it from there......good luck ! ;-)

try sinking the choke deeper. If it's not deep enough, you could be leaving them too much space. any type of grappling depends on you eating up all available space.
