Coco Posted October 25, 2004 Posted October 25, 2004 I can only do about 25-30 pushups in a row if I really push myself at the moment. I read tons of posts and decided that to be able to pass that number, I have to do more sets, so I set out to do sets of 10-15 till I reach 200 pushups (sets are streached over a whole day). By the end of the day, when im on my last say, 15-20 pushups, a little something (a nerve or something) next to my elbow starts going "clack" everytime I go down on a pushup, and it feels tickly. This happened to me a long time ago, so I decided to give it a rest for about a month. Today, I tried it again and I see the same results, the clacking sound when I go down. The next day, if I try to do pushups the clacking noise is still there, it takes a week or so to go away... How am I ever going to pass 30 pushups if this keeps happening?!(I cant do pushups with the clacking sound because it tickles and I fall) Shito Ryu (3rd kyu) RETIRED - 2002-2003Now studying BJJ(2006)
Cybren Posted October 25, 2004 Posted October 25, 2004 You know, it might be a better idea to see a doctor.
Coco Posted October 26, 2004 Author Posted October 26, 2004 Maybe im doing the pushups wrong or im overtraining? (Thanks ill try and check with my doctor or sensei anyways) Shito Ryu (3rd kyu) RETIRED - 2002-2003Now studying BJJ(2006)
