Better cardio: High Intensity Interval Trainning

Ive been browsing the forum and havent seen it mentioned here, so i decided to write about it since i see a lot of posts about reducing fat.

 

In order to have that chiseled, "cut" look, one thing i encourage you to do besides adopting a cleaner diet is to do High Intensity Interval Trainning aka HIIT.

 

It is a form of exercise consisting in alterning sprints and jogs in order to favor muscle retention and greater fat loss. Basically, you do something like

 

5 min warm up

 

5 * 30s sprint/ 30s jog

 

5 min cool down

 

Of course the numbers change but it is highly effective. You can also, for more fun, play a sport that looks like that pattern. i play soccer and i heard lacrosse is also very effective.
