dear john Posted September 30, 2004 Posted September 30, 2004 my instructor has us do slow motion round houses while leaning up against a wall. first we chamber(lift up leg) then extend the leg and hold it. when i hold my leg out (stomach level) i get a cramp in my butt cheek muscles. my instructor tells me that it is because i have weak leg muscles and i need to practice doing it more. i get the feeling she is full of crap and simply ignoring the cramp while i train will only make things worse. Am i wrong in this assumption? what can i do to make my cramps go away? has anyone of you ran into this problem and how dfid you fix it? the funny thing is that i know im wrong and i know your right, yet you keep argueing like it will change my mind. you should really know, you dont have to be right to win:)
SaiFightsMS Posted September 30, 2004 Posted September 30, 2004 Stretching will help get rid of the cramping. And she actually is right. As those muscles get stronger and build up more endurance you will get fewer cramps.
