my instructor has us do slow motion round houses while leaning up against a wall. first we chamber(lift up leg) then extend the leg and hold it.

when i hold my leg out (stomach level) i get a cramp in my butt cheek muscles.

my instructor tells me that it is because i have weak leg muscles and i need to practice doing it more.

i get the feeling she is full of crap and simply ignoring the cramp while i train will only make things worse.

Am i wrong in this assumption?

what can i do to make my cramps go away?

has anyone of you ran into this problem and how dfid you fix it?

the funny thing is that i know im wrong and i know your right, yet you keep argueing like it will change my mind. you should really know, you dont have to be right to win:)

Stretching will help get rid of the cramping. And she actually is right. As those muscles get stronger and build up more endurance you will get fewer cramps.
