I currently suffer from impingment syndrome of both my shoulders though my left one is much worse. It condition consists of the humerus making slight friction contact with the acromion bone lying across the shoulder. The operation will involve the acromion being trimmed down so that no rubbing remains. I just wondered whether any of you have suffered from the same condition and know how good the recovery is and how long i will be out of sports for after the operation is done. It will be an antroscopy/key hole surgery so i would be coming home the same night.

Ouch...throwing a perfect strike must be damn near impossible for you at the moment.

I had the problem but did not have surgery. For me it was don't use it for a while. Not training was a pain. Then a very gradual rehab. I had a tendon that was getting pinched in there.
