thats a gyrotwister.

they're said to train the whole arm, hand, chest and shoulder when used.

my questions are:

what do you think about'em? do you own one? do they really train all these muscles? do they help muscles GROW or harden muscles that are already there? whats the price for a good one? are there differences between gyrotwisters?

and how do they work? i mean, they rotate alright, but what makes them go and how do you achieve training results.

lots of questions, i know :)

any help is appriciated :karate:

I think I'll buy one and check it out. The company's page is at dynabee.com and they have a little guideline there on exercises to do, and I moved my wrist in some of the motions and imagined the resistance that the gyroscopic motion would put on there, it seems like it would be pretty cool. I have a lot of stress balls (the gravity gripp rocks) and grippers (all about the captains of crush!) ...I'm a musician so I'm always on the lookout for things to improve my forearm/hand/finger strength and dexterity! The gyro looks like it would do more for my drumming as opposed to bass playing though...much more wrist oriented. I'll post back up when I get it, although I think my fiancee may be eyeing that as a christmas gift for me already! :D
