I only listen (or really pay attention, for that matter) to tunes when I'm doing aerobic exercises. Then I listen to angry stuff. Superjoint Ritual is always good for that :D

When I'm running, nothing motivates me more than Robbie William's 'Let Me Entertain You'. Awesome! 'Paint it Black' is another good running tune.

I try to keep things quiet during the martial arts training, but when I lift or do cardio it's usually Iron Maiden, AC/DC, or Alice Cooper the original Shock Rocker.

If I'm sparring indoors with some one I'll play "Welcome To My Nightmare" just for S**** and Giggles:)

To condemn the art of another is to condemn your own as well. We all have the same origin.

I don't generally listen to music, but I like to open mikemiles.com and watch one of their fight clips between each round of sets.

Few things motivate me so well as watching an awesome fighter do their work!

I usually listen to my instructor yelling, "Kick Faster!!! Punch Harder!!!"

Seriously, I like quiet most of the time.

Student: "Why did you hit that guy with a chair? Why didn't you use your karate?"

Master: "Hitting him with a chair was the only karate I could think of at the time."

Lesson: Practice until you don't have to think.
