GrrrArg Posted August 22, 2004 Posted August 22, 2004 Get yourself down there. Ive talked to a couple people involved with it on other sites and it sounds like it will be really good. From what I gather the Tai-Chi Steve Rowe teaches (Yang Family Tai-Chi) isnt quite what most would expect. Looks really interesting actually.
telsun Posted September 10, 2004 Author Posted September 10, 2004 This seminar is next month does anyone want to meet up? I keep asking God what I'm for and he tells me........."gee I'm not sure!"
Drunken Monkey Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 i'm really tempted to say yes. hmm, make that a provisional yes for now. how close are you to the site? i can get myself to dartford quite easily. it shouldn't be too hard to get there from the crossing. post count is directly related to how much free time you have, not how intelligent you are."When you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite."
telsun Posted September 12, 2004 Author Posted September 12, 2004 I'm not far from Chatham at all. Bout 1/2 hour. I'm surprised that there is such a lack of interest in this. Is it because most of the guys on this site are from USA or is just that people aren't interested in Goju? I keep asking God what I'm for and he tells me........."gee I'm not sure!"
GrrrArg Posted September 17, 2004 Posted September 17, 2004 How are things looking now terry? When is the seminar again? Wish I could make it, but uni calls..
Drunken Monkey Posted October 21, 2004 Posted October 21, 2004 just wanted to bring this back to the front to remind people about it..... as it stands, i think i'll be there on saturday. post count is directly related to how much free time you have, not how intelligent you are."When you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite."
telsun Posted October 21, 2004 Author Posted October 21, 2004 Great I'll see you there. I'll be the one in the white gi and black belt. OK? I keep asking God what I'm for and he tells me........."gee I'm not sure!"
Drunken Monkey Posted October 21, 2004 Posted October 21, 2004 i'll be the little chinese guy looking really scared and lost.... er, what should i wear? just normal casual loose clothing? i mean, i don't have any sort of training outfit. and er, if i bring a friend for some company, would she have to pay as an attendee and participate, or is there an option for her to just be an observer/guest? post count is directly related to how much free time you have, not how intelligent you are."When you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite."
aefibird Posted October 21, 2004 Posted October 21, 2004 I'd like to go along, as I've always been interested in Goju (I've done a little training in it, but nothing much). However, I can't go to the seminar, due to other dojo commitments. Anyway, I hope you all have a great time, and that you really enjoy it Monkey! "Was it really worth it?
