SUch areas as the traps, lats, forearms, ithink if by be due to tightness or something any ideas? Red J Posted August 14, 2004 Share Posted August 14, 2004 You should be a little stiff/sore after (next day or two) a good workout if you are using muscles that you haven't used in a while, or if you worked them a little harder than usual. Lats can be stretched during punching drills, especially if you haven't warmed up properly/stretched, or if you do more than normal (like on a test). I seem to get tight in the forearms, neck, etc. after a good grappling workout. I like the feeling because I know that I worked hard to get there. I had to lose my mind to come to my senses.
