kurenai Posted August 8, 2004 Posted August 8, 2004 hi there, how you doin?? its truly an honor to have found a group of fellow martial artists. my name is.... lets just keep it kurenai for now . im just a 17 year old boy who is in pursuit of that certain "something" only a martial artist could understand. i've done an overview of some of your topics and i must say its interesting to see how indepth you people are with your martial arts. sadly, im my country we dont get any of that ufc/pride/valetudo stuff so my only exposure to the martial arts is in my class or with the occasional k1 shows (which as i mentioned before is occasional!!!). im still a few years off from my black belt (fingers crossed ill get it when im 19). but hey, im looking forward to discussing these things with you guys and girls. hope to talk to you folks soon you think you can beat me?! i find that mildly amusing.let honor guide your hand...

Rotten Head Fok Posted August 9, 2004 Posted August 9, 2004 Hi Kurenai, Welcome to KF! You must be stable and balanced in your foot work, if you have to use your martial knowledge in combat, your intent should be to win. If you do strike, you must release great power! The martial arts are easy to learn, but difficult to correct.
