Jogging on the spot is way different to running and I wouldn't recommend doing it for as long as you are. I assume your landing on the front ball of your foot then lowering the heel. If you were running for 30 minutes your heel would fall first and your leg would be angled to the front so the pressure would not be straight up and down. That may be why you're getting sore feet. You may be bruising the balls of your feet. You also have to be careful of a condition called plantar fasciitis which is an inflammation of the tendon running from the heel over the arch. It gives you pain in the heels. Have you thought about a stationary bike or a stairmaster

 

instead.

Im 15 so I wouldn't be able to afford it. I've took you advice and have started jogging outside. However it's annoying. Everyone looks at you because your the only one running and some people think your running away from someone. Alot of Gangsters also hang around my area so you have to avoid them.

Chirath, do you have a leisure centre with a running track near you? If so, give them a call. As you're under 16 the charges probably wouldn't be very much (if anything). Zooming round the track a few times will be just as good as running round the block, and will probably keep you away from the 'gangsters'.

 

Also, if you've got a back yard or back garden then jog on the spot in that. Plus, you could do those froggy jumps and other excercises without waking your dad up.

My gardens so infested by weeds that theres only a 1 x 1 Metre square. Great idea aefibird about the Lesisure centre. I hate my area so many thugs. Im glad I don't walk around in my Gi otherwise I would trully get my * handed to me. Thanks for all the tips guys. Already im a bit thinner :karate:
