Rotten Head Fok Posted July 6, 2004 Share Posted July 6, 2004 When I first started in CLF we did not have sashes (belts) you were either a student or a teacher. Now a days there is a ranking sytem. I have it somewhere but my PC is having problems and I am at the library. The reason we have ranks now, is to give incouragement to students. This is not to be taken disrespectfully, It's the way CLF started, or at least my school. You must be stable and balanced in your foot work, if you have to use your martial knowledge in combat, your intent should be to win. If you do strike, you must release great power! It is a federation controlled by the CONI which is a government agency (this thing of having Gov agencies controlling sport federations is an heritage of the fascist regime where sport was a matter of national pride).
