aefibird Posted May 19, 2004 Posted May 19, 2004 Sorry to hear about your toe. I'm glad you went to the docs, though, even if it was bad news! Hopefully the anti-inflammatory tablets will do the trick. When you've finished those, if it still hurts then simple Ibuprofen is a good anti-inflammatory - you could get it as a gel to rub straight on your toe. "Was it really worth it? Dijita Posted May 19, 2004 Author Posted May 19, 2004 Yeah, that's what I got, was the gel stuff. I have to avoid ingesting anti-inflammatory's and Ibuprofen. About 6 months ago I got a stomach bacteria that caused stomach erosions... so the doctor is concerned that anti-inflammatory's can set my stomach off again and put my tummy in a lot of pain.
aefibird Posted May 19, 2004 Posted May 19, 2004 ouch, nasty! Good luck with the gel - I hope it works. "Was it really worth it? Only time and death may ever tell..." The Beautiful South - The Rose of My CologneSheffield Steelers!
SaiFightsMS Posted May 19, 2004 Posted May 19, 2004 Listen up everybody it is not always smart to just suck up the pain and ignore things.

Dijita Posted May 19, 2004 Author Posted May 19, 2004 Yes, but I can't bend my toe. It is my longest toe, it jams into the end of my shoe. It's more annoying than anything.
