my training schedule - what do you think?

why do you guys think of this training itneray, what should i change? m, you think its orite,

 

equipment used is gloves, 28kilo punching bag

 

and hard surface floor.

ONE DAY REST PER WEEK

thnx for the coment,

 

when you mean, the crunches - you mean instead of going from head touching the floor to mid air in perpendicular straight in the middle of your knees, going from the floor to the right or left hand side of the kness?

 

at my young age though, i feel that some of the schedule is slightly to taxing for me , it really drains my energy but refreshed afterwards

hey,

 

i always do this training schedule at 8pm, and finish around nine o clock, then straight after that i have dinner

 

is it recommended that i should eat straight after i train,

 

or should i eat at lets say train around 10:30, after i have eaten??

Wow, Im so embarrassed reading that, its amazing, I never realized people did that. Lol. How long hav u been doing that ? I guess I should start with a daily work out type thing.

Well, my routine is this if you want to have a look :smile:

 

Every day I have 5 mins on exercise bike before breakfast to get metabolism running

 

Monday - MA Practice, 30 minutes on bike

 

Tuesday - Weights and abs, 20 mins on bike

 

Wednesday - same as Monday

 

Thursday - same as Tuesday

 

Friday - MA lesson

 

Saturday - Varies

 

Sunday - 10 mins on bike, stretching

 

I do stretching every day, but moreso on Sunday

mine goes like:

 

monday; boxing

 

18 2min rounds on bags

 

5 2 min rounds sparing

 

tuesday; rugby

 

10 50 metre sprints

 

tackling

 

1/2 hour game about 2 hours

 

wednosday same as monday

 

thursday same as tuesday

 

saterday rugby match

i haven been keeping this for about 9 weeks know, i have really seen a real physical change after i do this schedule, but dnt get me wrong though, i dnt over do it, im only 14, so i keep careful not to over do it :wink:

 

the schedule goes like this,

 

monday - school schedule - 30min

 

tuesday - 1h 30min kung fu lesson

 

wednesday- 1h 30min kickboxing lesson

 

thursday - school schedule - 30min

 

friday - school schedule - 30min

 

saturday - 1h 30min kung fu lesson

 

sunday - non school schedul - 1hr training

 

thats about it really, every two weeks i update the schedule by adding more press ups, or introdcing new things which i couldnt do b4, like one handed press ups, in four weeks time, i will start introducing some acrobatic work, by trynig handstands etc.., hopfully after christmas i would like to join a boxing club,

 

anyways thnx for you input guys, keep them comin :wink:

Hello again Dragon. You will find that most serious martial arts students have a training program. The length of time it involves varies a lot depending on the other time requirements of the person involved.

 

When you begin to develope your routine concentrate on the basics and start gradually.
