hobz Posted April 22, 2004 Posted April 22, 2004 So, I was curious how to increase my agility, speed and reactions for various Martial Arts reasons. And I came across the agility ladder. http://www.jumpusa.com/pladder.html?OVRAW=agility&OVKEY=agility&OVMTC=standard I've seen Hockey Players using this for their footwork, but don't know of its effectiveness. Is there anything special about it compared to just making my own? Is it worth spending time training with it? Thanks in advance.[/i] Rule #1: Play the game to the limit. Damn the consequences.
ramymensa Posted April 23, 2004 Posted April 23, 2004 I wouldn;t buy it. Sounds like another good for nothing extemelly expensive (for what is really worth) item. Like tele shopping. Gee hate all that stuff. Use your money for better things ... or buy it, if you really like it. On a second sight ... it's a rip off. Can't you make your own ladder .. some rope and sticks. The wonder ladder in the ad is nothing more than that ... World Shotokan Karate
aefibird Posted May 2, 2004 Posted May 2, 2004 My sensei had two of them that we use fairly regularly - he made his own and it only cost him about £2.50. If you want one (and they are good for footwork and agility) then save your £££ and make your own - much better value! "Was it really worth it? Only time and death may ever tell..."
