What is the best legal weapon you can carry (without a permit)?

a swiss army knife :) You can kill a man 500 different ways with one of those things.

Canada is very different.

I'd say a cane or walking stick. Very versatile and totally legal anywhere.

 

2nd choice, a kobutan key chain. Very good for close in and grappling.

That's a fantastic, but expensive long term (not range) weapon. It has no effect on the short term, and I think that's what people here are concerned about. Of course, if you're strong enough to swing the lawyer around like a warhammer it would make a good long ranged weapon. :brow:
