WolverineGuy Posted April 10, 2004 Posted April 10, 2004 Eh, you won't really notice it. It gives you a nice energy boost, and you do look bigger. Wolverine1st Dan - Kalkinodo"Shut up brain, or I'll stab you with a q-tip""There is no spoon."
White Warlock Posted April 11, 2004 Posted April 11, 2004 (edited) Well, i'm feeling reasonably content with my purchase, although would like to toss this out, seeing as i've never actually purchased this kind of... stuff... before, and am not inclined be a poser. I.e., did i pay reasonable prices? I still have a receipt and can return those items i payed too much for: http://newbery.org/alan/text/regimen.gif Unsuccessful, so far, in finding ZMA. From my studies in the past few days, this is what i've found to be my regimen: Creatine Intake Creatine Regimen Cycles - 2 months on, 1 month off Purchased approximately 65 days worth Creatine first three days - 20 grams per day w/water Creatine subsequent days - 3 grams / day w/water Creatine postworkout - 2 grams w/grape juice (approx 60 gms dextrose) Daily Supplement Intake Whey protein - 60 gms / day (powder shake) - 15 servings purchased (hmm... need to buy 4 lbs more) Multivitamin - 1 tablet daily Flax seed oil - 2000 mg / day (two capsules) - 100 days supply Alpha-lipoic acid (ALA) - 300mg / day (one capsule) - 90 days supply Amino acid complex - 1000mg / day (one tablet) - 50 days supply Niacin - 50mg / day (half tablet) - 400 days supply Melatonin - 3mg / day at bedtime - 240 days supply Extreme Stack (fat burner) - 2 capsules / day - 45 days supply Critique away, assuming you want to. White Warlock Posted April 14, 2004 Posted April 14, 2004 Hmm... seems i'll be adding glucosamine complex and l-carnitine to the mix. still no luck finding zma. Also corrected the niacin intake above. Decreased it by half, as the vitamin complex i have already contains 20mg. WolverineGuy Posted April 14, 2004 Posted April 14, 2004 If you can't find something, check bodybuilding.com. I don't think they're is anything they don't have. I haven't taken a close look at what you've got, cuz I just wokeup. I'll look closer in a bit. Wolverine1st Dan - Kalkinodo"Shut up brain, or I'll stab you with a q-tip""There is no spoon."
daeinwolf Posted April 14, 2004 Posted April 14, 2004 Just going by what I have picked up in the last year, mind you. From my understanding, you cannot gain a great deal of size and lose fat/weight at the same time. The reason being is that to make mass gains one must have more calories than you normally burn. To burn fat/weight, one must go into a calorie deficit. Speaking from persoanl experience, I gained a lot in strength and in being "toned" just by upping my protein and keeping my calorie intake normal. I deceided to do a brief bulking cycle and upped the calorie intake. The results were much more size oriented and less "toned" muscle due to the increase in body fat percentage(went from 8% to 16% ouch!). IF you have any questions on this, I would be glad to help as well. SiK---Joshua There are no limits.
WolverineGuy Posted April 14, 2004 Posted April 14, 2004 Yes, that is correct. You cannot bulk and cut at the same time. Wolverine1st Dan - Kalkinodo"Shut up brain, or I'll stab you with a q-tip""There is no spoon."
White Warlock Posted April 15, 2004 Posted April 15, 2004 This sounds logical. I think i'll relocate the 'cut' additives to the off-time on the creatine cycles. I.e., bulk/build for two months, lean/cut for one month. I'm feeling like a test tube here. "When you are able to take the keys from my hand, you will be ready to drive." - Shaolin DMV TestIntro
Rich_2k3 Posted April 16, 2004 Posted April 16, 2004 Found an excellent article which should answer all ur questions about creatine, the title of it is: CAN CREATINE SAFELY BOOST PERFORMANCE, REDUCE FATIGUE AND SPEED RECOVERY? http://www.pponline.co.uk/prewp/schome-creatine.html "When my enemy contracts I expand and when he expands I contract" - Bruce Lee
White Warlock Posted April 16, 2004 Posted April 16, 2004 Rich, that's an advertisement for a book and it doesn't answer hardly anything. It poses the questions most people ask, but doesn't provide answers. As well, what it does say on that advertisement... is hogie.
