WolverineGuy
Eh, fat burners do have their place. THe key is not to RELY on them. They are a supplement, just like the others that I mentioned. If you're not following a good diet, the effects will be minimal. I've found that for the money, Xenadrine is probably the best. The most effective, oddly enough coming from muscletech, is Hydroxycut. However, Hydroxycut is so darned expensive, I hardly find it worth the cost. As Rich said, though, diet is key. If you dont' have a good diet, don't even bother with a fat burner. Wolverine1st Dan - Kalkinodo"Shut up brain, or I'll stab you with a q-tip""There is no spoon." Bretty101
hi, My experience with Creatine has been much the same as Rich67, I gain loads of weight with creatine and get proper massive, but i feel most of it is water. This i lose quickly when i stop taking it. I can't say how much it improves my performance? but you definately notice your muscles 'pump' up when you use it. if thats a good thing? I do find i grow too quick and get nasty stretch marks. As for side effects this can get a bit controversial, only problem i have is i need to drink about 3 litres of water a day to stop dehydration/headaches. White Warlock
Thank you WolverineGuy for that link, and all others for the input. I have a few remaining questions, for any and all that can answer them:1. Xenadrine, is that a brand name and, if so, what's in it? 2. What's your daily intake of Xenadrine? 3. ZMA, is that a brand name and, if so, what's in it? 4. What's your daily intake of Xenadrine? 5. Flax seed oil... daily intake? 6. I don't suppose anyone knows a natural source for glutathione? 7. Any diet (food) recommendations to accompany all this for a focus on strength/speed building, while avoiding fat building? Clearly, i'm not a bodybuilder or a nutritionist. Thank you again for your expertise. "When you are able to take the keys from my hand, you will be ready to drive." - Shaolin DMV TestIntro

Rich_2k3
Surely creatine will decrease ur "motor muscle" performance and just make u look bigger. Your gonna lose flexability and functunal strength surely if ur muscles are full of water? WolverineGuy
1. Xenadrine, is that a brand name and, if so, what's in it? Actually, I'm gonna take back what I said about xenadrine. The main active ingredient in the one that worked well was ephedra, which is now nationally banned. Their new product is...well...bleah. Try Thermorexin instead. 2. What's your daily intake of Xenadrine? I'll change this answer to suit Thermorexin. The label states Contains: 1 - 180 capsule bottle Take 1-2 capsules 3 times daily But DO NOT TAKE MORE THAN ONE the first time you take it. This is a very powerful diet system. DO NOT TAKE THIS PRODUCT WITH ANY OTHER THERMOGENIC 3. ZMA, is that a brand name and, if so, what's in it? Taken directly from bodybuilding.com: ZMA is a scientifically designed anabolic mineral formula. It contains Zinc Monomethionine Aspartate plus Magnesium Aspartate and vitamin B-6, and is an all-natural product that has been clinically proven to significantly increase anabolic hormone levels and muscle strength in trained athletes. Just take a look for that compound. It's not a brand name, just a name for the compound. 4. What's your daily intake of Xenadrine? I assume you mean ZMA. Two to three pills at the end of the day. 5. Flax seed oil... daily intake? 2000 mg daily, in pill form. 6. I don't suppose anyone knows a natural source for glutathione? Can't help ya there, sorry. 7. Any diet (food) recommendations to accompany all this for a focus on strength/speed building, while avoiding fat building? Lean meat, lots of protein, avoid saturated fat. Just eat smart. Hope that helped. Wolverine1st Dan - Kalkinodo"Shut up brain, or I'll stab you with a q-tip""There is no spoon."
Rich67
Surely creatine will decrease ur "motor muscle" performance and just make u look bigger. Your gonna lose flexability and functunal strength surely if ur muscles are full of water?Actually, that's not really true. Creatine is very useful for "short burst and prolonged" physical exertion. A football player, for instance, can greatly benefit from it since it increases muscular endurance over a period of time. You'll look a little bigger, yes, but not so big that you will lose flexibility. A big misconception people have is that working out with weights will automatically make you inflexible. Although it's true most weightlifters have lost a lot of range of motion. But, if you stretch sufficiently before and after each lifting session, you will maintain flexibility. Look at guys like Van Damme. He's a pretty good sized guy, but he's flexible as all heck. Oh yeah, Creatine DOES increase overall strength. Trust me, it does. I improved my bench from a one rep max of 245 to 295 within 2 months while using it. And even though I stopped taking it after that, I maintained my strength and new-found size. WolverineGuy
I didn't notice any when I took em. Studies have been done for toxicity due to overdose, but I believe they proved that there are no toxicity problems. However, I'm not 100% sure on those kinds of stats. All I do know is that it worked for me at the reccomended dosage. Wolverine1st Dan - Kalkinodo"Shut up brain, or I'll stab you with a q-tip""There is no spoon."
