WhiteBelt
Weights Best exercise: deadlift, with sqauts as the runner up. Worst exercise(s): crunch, and anything sold at 3 am on TV. Cardio Best exercise(s): sprints, jogging, jump rope, sparring all tied. Worst exercise(s): aerobics, cycling, etc. All from a MA perspective IMO. DokterVet
I'll probably go with squats for the best, and for the worst I'm going with the Ab King Pro. If you haven't seen the informercials, they are the worst yet. The motion doensn't require any dynamic contraction of the abs, and there's no way to add resistance. So basically it's a piece of garbage. And it's huge. 22 years oldShootwrestlingFormerly Wado-Kai Karate

sansoouser
Devil said " I almost broke my neck, and fell sidewards against the edge of my desk " He was talking about handstand pushups. You need to work up to them they build tremendous upper body strength and shoulder strength. Start by just doing a handstand and holding it, I can holdd one for 10 minutes as of now. I can do a one handed handstand for 2 minutes and 2 handstand pushups with one hand. I can do around 25 with both hands. But anyway just hold it don't give up on them, they are greeat! The amateur shoots his hands out ferociously, but lacks any true power. A master is not so flamboyant, but his touch is as heavy as a mountain. Rich67
Best ANAEROBIC exercise: Squats, followed closely by deadlifts. Best AEROBIC exercise: cycling, followed closely by and sport you love doing...in my case, deck hockey... gives you 60 minutes of constant running, twisting, all-out effort. I don't include running in there only because I find it quite boring. I think the best type of aerobic exercise is one you love to do; so much so you are willing to do it 4-5 times a week, and it never becomes monotonous. White Warlock
Best: Thinking - working your noggin' is just the best thing for you, period 2nd Best: Swimming / pool aerobics - seen enough reports to know, this beats everything but skiing. Worst - Skiing - A fantastic exercise, but the injury rate is just too damn high to make it worth it. 2nd Worst - Running - unfortunately, two of the most popular exercises are also two of the worst for your joints.
