Bretty101
I hit someone really hard last week with a reverse punch and ever since I've had pins and needles in my little finger and the one next to it?! It's quite worrying as it's not getting any better. It feels like I've hit my funny bone and my hand has gone funny. Except I haven't caught my funny bone. I'm pretty sure my wrist didn't bend on impact. Could it be a trapped nerve in my wrist? Has anyone else ever had this? Help! Bretty
White Warlock
Sounds more like you agitated a nerve in your neck, or strained a muscle above your shoulder blade and it is putting pressure on your nerves. I recommend trying a soft massage of the neck and shoulders and possibly a visit to the chiropractor. addendum: You might also want to cut down on the amount of use you're putting to that mouse. Ergonomics lesson: The computer mouse forces you to 'elevate' your shoulders in order to hover the mouse about with subtlety, and then periodically cause your fingers to go a'clicking. If you can get used to it, i recommend switching over to a trackball, where your shoulder can rest and stay in one spot, leaving your thumb and fingers to do the browsing. Rich67
I once pulled apart those plastic soda six-pack holders...ya know, the ones that hold the cans together? Put like 3 or 4 of 'em together and tried to break them apart. Well, I screwed up the nerves in my fingers and had that same sensation you have for about a month and a half in my fingers. It went away. You probably damaged some nerves in your finger. Don't worry, the sensation will dissapate as the nerves heal. If it persists for more than 2 months, I'd see a doctor. Gloi
I did a bad block last month and damaged the outside of my wrist and got the same feeling of pins and needles and numbness in the same fingers as you. That feeling lasted about 2 weeks but it's okay now, though my wrist is still not totally right.

monkeygirl
It could be nerve damage, or it could be a hairline fracture or something more serious. I think you should have a doctor check it out. It may be nothing, but the sooner you find out, the better. If you wait a few weeks and then it REALLY starts to hurt, the problem may have developed into something large, whereas it could have been easily prevented if you had just seen a doctor sooner. Radok
Yeah, visit a doctor, if it's nothing, you've only thrown away 100 dollars. Just give it time to recover, I've had something simalar. Sasori_Te
I agree, I'd go to the doctor. I've had the same sensation before. It does take a long while to go away. A block is a strike is a lock is a throw.
