CanuckMA Posted February 24, 2004 Posted February 24, 2004 It's called an edema. It fluids. The body surounds the btuised tissues with fluids to protect it. It can take months to fully reabsorb. Apply Arnica to it.

Topic Posted February 25, 2004 Author Posted February 25, 2004 Will my shin get hardened more the next time it heals?
TheDevilAside Posted February 25, 2004 Posted February 25, 2004 The more you bruise your shins, the less likely it is that you will bruise them the next time. I used to skatebaord (I was at it for 5 years) and as a result, I would injure my shins All.The.Time and now, after five years, you could hit me there with a baseball bat and I wouldn't flinch or get a bruise... yes, I'm exaggerating, but you get my point. So, yes, eventually it will become hard again. "If you're going through hell, keep going." - Sir Winston Churchill
Sibylla Posted February 25, 2004 Posted February 25, 2004 My shins have visible lumps...they doesn't hurt, but when I thouch them they feel sort of crunchy. Had them for years.
cross Posted March 13, 2004 Posted March 13, 2004 CanuckMA's advice about Arnica is very good. Arnica will help relieve bruising on any part of the body and it really does work wonders. If you want other than that for your shin try and get some thai linament.
