10 years time

Recommended Posts

In ten years time I will be ten years older and have obtained ten more years of knowledge. I hope to have bettered myself, helped more people, shared with those willing to learn and learned from those willing to share.

I think 10 years are long anyhow. ... I think in about 4 years from now I should get my Tai chi chuan BB and continue to study it further hopefully for the rest of my life, which is one of the reasons why I choose this art. For kickboxing I do not know I'm already 42 (almost 43) now I can do it and is a great exercise but maybe sooner or later I think I will need to quit that art maybe doing something less physical like for example Karate or just more Tai chi. I heard that karate can be practiced at any pace and almost any age and I think that when I will be not longer able to sustain the hard kickboxing training taking karate with some backgroud in kickboxing can be a good alternative.... Karatekas what do you think? :-?

Ten years from now, I'd just like to be better at karate than I am now. Maybe by then I will be able to do a decent kekomi-geri?????

I start testing for 3rd this summer, that will probably take two years. Then I'll begin learning the material for 4th, but have to wait 4 yrs before starting to test (that brings us to 6). Another 2-3 yrs testing gets me to 4th dan by around 10 yrs.

Then the looong road to 5th (master), if I ever get there. 8)

10 years time hmmmmm..... I'll probably be doing what I'm doing now, I hope, teaching and learning new things. Hopefully my daughter will be training with me by then, if she's interested.

Rank wise I may be Yondan or at least close in Kenpo...

I would like to take up and really train in BJJ, which looks great from observation...

Maybe study some other systems as well....

10 years is really not that far away....

I bet that in 10 years time that I will be a Sandan in Shotokan.

I'll be the Instructor's assistant at my dojo, also helping out judging at tournaments. I'll be pretty busy travelling to various Shotokan camps, and tournaments supervising the student contestants of our dojo.

 .... don't wake me up yet.. I'm not finished dreaming.....

My spirit is never daunted by training, but sometimes my body begs to differ.

I'm sure I will have less hair-(if thats possible..),more around my middle, will hopefully have all my parts still working & bones all intact!--By then, I hope to actually be able to perform some locks & throws from our Aikido we are blending in @ class without having to stop think 1st.
