Sunrunner
This thread has given me back some inspiration. I have a spare white gi, and I was planning on dying it the most god awful pink. I'm talking like, barbie pink, and then wearing it to class, or maybe on April Fool's day or something. I think the amusement value alone would be worth it. I'll be sure to post a picture when I get this done. I thought about some flower and heart patches to...but how much is too much? AngelaG
We are quite traditional. Everyone wears white gi, only the belt changes. I have 2 gi with our club badge on and the others are completely plain. Some people have the organisation badge as well. WapCaplet
I typcially wear a baby-blue top with purple fringe, sometimes some pin-striping. The pants are some kind of plaid, maybe magenta or puce or perhaps a floral pattern if I'm feeling a little.... Oh wait....sorry, thought this was the golf forum for a minute.... XxpengwynxX
I wear a plain white gi. By the time you get to purple, most people will wear a judo gi, because you do more of the judo stuff in the higher classes. And some people wear black, or black pants/white shirt or visa versa. But you can't wear black until you get to a certain rank.

SaiFightsMS
Gene Labell is famous for his pink judogi. It all started when he was at a tournament and sent his gi out to be washed. Somehow it came back pink and he didn't have another one and had to wear it pink. He kept the pink color as a sort of a trademark.
