glingglo Posted February 5, 2004 Posted February 5, 2004 my hips and shoulders make the most horrid crunching and grinding sounds sometimes... it's not painful, but i have to admit i'm concerned about the future. so i'm trying to balance the high-impact karate that i do with more low-impact exercise like yoga. it helps me feel more balanced and it seems to have made my shoulders loosen up a little.
Rich_2k3 Posted February 5, 2004 Posted February 5, 2004 Could it be somthing to do with hyper-extension? "When my enemy contracts I expand and when he expands I contract" - Bruce Lee
Arys Posted February 10, 2004 Posted February 10, 2004 My Sifu said that lot of the newcomers to Wing Chun have this problem. Mainly because of their technique and because their elbows arent used to that kind of stress. He said it usually passes after a certain amount of time. But it is true many people that train in Wing Chun do develop "Tennis Elbow" if their techinique is off.
