Drunken Monkey Posted January 25, 2004 Posted January 25, 2004 simple one. go see your gp. post count is directly related to how much free time you have, not how intelligent you are."When you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite."
Hoju Posted January 25, 2004 Posted January 25, 2004 Lol. Yeah, that was easy. Generally, purple & stiff is NEVER a good sign. See a doc.

Natural Posted January 26, 2004 Author Posted January 26, 2004 I don't really want to go to see my GP or doctor my friend said I should excercise my fingure repeatly but not too much. Drunken Monkey Posted January 26, 2004 Posted January 26, 2004 and why don't you want to go see your gp? sorry but listening to your friend instead of an educated professional is in my opinion, stupid. post count is directly related to how much free time you have, not how intelligent you are."When you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite."
Rich67 Posted January 26, 2004 Posted January 26, 2004 Natural (it seems like you and "Practice is the Key" are close pals?? ), but if your finger is stiff, blue, and you cannot bend it, I'd have to say: A) It's broken B) It's dislocated C) It's severely sprained. Either way, you need to see a doctor immediately. Discoloration may mean either a bruise or even lack of proper circulation. Lack of movement means bone, muscle or ligament damage. If you DONT get it properly treated, you may lose the full use of the finger! It's foolish NOT to see a doctor! Mixed Martial Artist
CanuckMA Posted January 27, 2004 Posted January 27, 2004 I don't really want to go to see my GP or doctor my friend said I should excercise my fingure repeatly but not too much. Your friend is a compete, total and absolute MORON. Forget the GP. Go to the nearest hospital. You'll need X-Rays. Sounds like it's broken. I hope it has not started to heal yet. If the bone starts to heal while not in place, it needs to be re-broken. Hell man, you're in England. National healthcare and all. It's free. What are you waiting for? Swelling, severe bruising and loss of movement always indicate bad trauma.
Drunken Monkey Posted January 27, 2004 Posted January 27, 2004 well, that's why i say go to gp. he can get you refered and you you can skip A&E and the wait. post count is directly related to how much free time you have, not how intelligent you are."When you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite."
