sano
i don't think the two are that different. take away the money, the gadgets and what do you have? two ordinary guys who have determination and committment to their cause. but bruce wanye is a black belt in ninjistu. and since you talking about the whole division then throw in robin or nightwing, the justice league and terry mageness(how ever you spell his name) from the future. but like you said if you strip them of there gadets they would be normal but bruce, terry, and dick all know martial arts. and batman can jump from high places and has a lot of stamina. bond really does not know how to fight he is just a brawler. but the best fighter out of the bond series has to be george lazenby who looks like he knows a little martial arts. falcon kick!!! sano
You must not watch/read a lot of Batman. i know batman has a gadget for anything, can get out of anything and is a crazy genius. bond just gets lucky. ok i forgot the movie but remember when bond was trap in that swamp. and he had to jump on the alligators backs just to reach the land. lucky! while remember the episode where batman fought and killed those crocodiles that tried to eat him. batman is the better fight with impersive friends side kicks to back him up. has anybody seen teen titans? robin alone can destroy bond, all so can slade i love that guy. batman has the better vilains too. falcon kick!!! battousai16
i'm with drunken monkey on this except for the whole "not talking about bond, talking about the 00 tag division" thing. no, i think we're just talking about bond. bond's the best because he's bond. both bond and batman have a special place on my list, i've loved them since i was a wee one. the movie you're reffering to, sano, is live and let die. what you're neglecting is bond's experience in the martial arts. it says in... i think on her majesty's secret service... that he has a black belt in judo and did boxing, i think it was. not to mention his experience from you only live twice, and lets not forget his sword play in die another day, as stupid, awkward, and misplaced as it was. very unnecissary. but anyway. also bare in mind that Ian Flemings bond is so much different from MGM/EON's bond. sano
i know what you mean but i'm more off a batman fan than a james bond. and i love james bond movies a lot too. but batman seems to be cooler and the better fighter. look at james bond techniques their weak. and do you think judo will when against ninjitsu i think not. falcon kick!!! delta1
censored for sick content Depends on which Bond. Pierce Brosnan couldn't outfight Ms. Moneypenny. But on the whole, James Bond would beat Batman and never get a hair out of place. When it was over, the Robin would say something like "Holy sound effects Batman, what are all those 'POW's, 'WHACK's, 'SMACK's and 'OOF's floating around your head?" Let's also not forget that, in addition to more and better babes, Bond has more hit songs. They all suck, but hits they are! All Batman has is 'NA-NA-na-na-na-na-na-na- BAT-MAN!' Never even made the charts. Sad, really . Freedom isn't free!
Drunken Monkey
what i meant was while batman is very much an individual who works alone, bond is someone that is sent to do something. when one 00 agent isn't enough, they send two. when two isn't enough, they send three... and think about it. the 00 agents normally work alone. how well trained do you think they are if they are capable of working alone. hmm, or perhaps i'm being a bit pedantic... post count is directly related to how much free time you have, not how intelligent you are."When you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite." battousai16
...am i the only one who finds it ironic that a person with the handle gandhi was censored for sick content? sano, i'm a bigger batman fan too, but that dosen't mean you can just count out bond. also, bond's techniques aren't weak, connery/moore/dalton/brosnan's techniques were weak and lazenby's were mediocre at best. if you read the books, bond was made out to sound out like a martial arts god, and perfect gun accuracy, if you read "the man with the golden gun". batman has the advantage of being drawn, thus perfect. delta one, lets not forget danny elfman... a music god... kchenault
Battousai16, are the books good reads? I have never read one. If you like reading books with "bad" dudes in them, check 'Cain' by James Byron Huggins, or any of his books. Great guy books. Lots of action and thrills and guns. battousai16
i've always enjoyed the bond books, though some of them are poorly written. obviously, the ian fleming ones are best. i'll check james byron out; i'm always in search of another good book and as far as music goes, lets not forget that die another day had the clash in it "I hear you can kill 200 men and play a mean six string at the same time..."-Six String Samurai
