GrrrArg Posted February 25, 2004 Posted February 25, 2004 I tried making porridge once - didn't work, burnt it. So it actually is possible to burn water. Scottish food.. a contradiction in terms surely.

Kanzashi Posted March 8, 2004 Posted March 8, 2004 I once swallowed an ant. My friend and I were at the beach when we were young, about 10 I think, and were drinking buckets of water. Mine had an ant in it. My guts were squirming for a week. Love most of what you've all said, except the blue eggs and fresh calfs afterbirth stuff. Can't get my head around that!
sidekick Posted March 24, 2004 Posted March 24, 2004 I ate goat intestines when i lived in Nepal. It really wasn't too bad, except for the fact that it was cooked with too much grease for my liking.
Solo Posted April 18, 2004 Posted April 18, 2004 I'd have to say Squid..Nothing against people who like it but it's just so...rubbery I'm never eating it again The worst part about it all is my cousins sliced it up into small rings and lied about what it was until I ate it "Freedom discovers man the moment he loses concern over what impression he is making or about to make."-Bruce Lee
DeeLovesKarate Posted June 5, 2004 Posted June 5, 2004 i put peanut butter on everything.any one else do that? i mean everything. meat, ice cream (on the rare occasions i have ice cream), tuna... everything Dee C.Normal ( 'nor-m&l)-an adj. used by humans to stereotype
Fenris-wolf Posted June 8, 2004 Posted June 8, 2004 Tee hee, a little behind here, but you know what's really fun? Feeding unsuspecting Canadians (or Americans etc etc) Martmite! He'd seen me eating it (mmm) and like most uninformed people presumed it was chocolate-y or something. Ahh, the look of utter horror when he ate it! Hm. I've eaten a huhu grub (NZ grub, looks sort of like a huge maggot, eat them bbq'd, everyone says they taste like peanut butter). Mine was all cold and greasy but not too bad. But the grossest thing I've ever eaten was a banana... skin and stalk included! For the entertainment of my friends (fools offered me money, mwah haha), involved a lot of gagging but I got it down! Also, sort of off topic but has anyone here ever felt that a particular animal looks "yummy"?? My bf thinks that giraffes look tasty, he had some in Africa and apparently they are... And while I think snakes are really cool while alive I think roast snake sounds yummy. I dunno, maybe I'm crazy! Let Us Turn The Jump Rope In Accord With Socialist Principles!
Zorba Posted June 18, 2004 Posted June 18, 2004 i cant beleive that squid entered the "gross food" list what do you think calamari is. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm plus, there is salt and pepper squid, pan fried chilli squid. SQUID ROCKS. unless your talking raw. then its gross It takes a big man to admit when he's wrong, and I am NOT a big man.Tae Kwon Do (ITF) - 1st Dan Black BeltShotokan Karate - 6th Kyu
