  1. just keep on asking local busiensses, or get hooked up with a club, maybe a club will sponsor you
  2. usually just a evade back and cover up, then counter with a cross or cross, hook combo
  3. eat things that are easily digestable and high in carbs. Pancakes or french toast with syrop or perservatives is fine and some juice. Stay away from things that will stay in your system a long time.
  4. well, we don't teach, to make sure our students are fallowers for the rest of there lives. I'f one of my students start teaching another class, i'd be happy for that person. But if your under contrat, your under contract. If you still want to teach, but your instructor worn't let you, you can always restructure your kata and training program and teach your own thing.
  5. Every student is gonna be different and have different reasons to train. Some for fun, some just for the exercise, some for sport or some just for some sort of self defense. If she doesn't want to spar, I wouldn't push the issue. That maybe something that she just doesn't want to do. But if she's a higher belt and just want to spar the yunger kids or lower belts, mabye she could be a big help in training the new kids. That maybe her nich and thats were you need to show the support in that. Maybe give her a technique or area of defense or offense to work on, with different students to help there abilities.
  6. no big deal, it's his choice to spar the kids or not. The main thing is if the kids are learning a art or not.
  7. I do a 4 day free trial, and I also give opertunity for my students to promote the gym and give out free training certificates which are for 4 days. And they go through a full training session.
  8. Basically, the way I teach may depend on what we actually need to work on. I allways have a standard routine I go through till the kicks and punches start looking good, then we advance a bit on what I teach. But, we go back and forth from a standard karate class to more of a boxing class and also teaching how to get better tone. So basically I teach in a format that produces professional athletes.
