  1. Hi to all, ...from 26 katas i know this ones: Heian Shodan Heian Nidan Heian Sandan Heian Yondan Heian Godan Bassai Dai Jion Jitte Empi Tekki Shodan Tekki Nidan Nijushiho Kanku Dai Best regards, Samurai
  2. hi Shotokan-kez, I know bought katas: nijushiho and jite. With jite I didn't have any problems but at the begining of nijushiho, well i had problems too. I learnd nijushiho by segments and with all that i had problems with my kata but then after many trainings i started to memories the hole kata ... then i had a problem that not all man consider it important but if you ask me it is so i didn't finnish the kata from were I started so that was my last problem and it took me some trainings to finish it at the same place ... some of my positions were to large and others were to small... then I tried it again and everything was (almost) perferct ... I say almost because you know, you always learn new things in karate and you never reach a stage were you can say: ,,OK, now I am perfect, the best, in Karate so I do not need so much training i can have 2 trainings / week instead of 3 "... at the first time I hated nijushiho but now it is my 2nd favorite kata (the first is empi)... In conclusion: if you train a lot and focus you will understand a lot more easier everything in karate just be patience... Samurai.
  3. Club: "Samurai Karate Club" (SKC) City: Arad, Romania Sensei: Gondor Florin (3 DAN)
  4. Hi to all, I am from Romania and in our club we pay 20$/month, we have 24 hours of training/month, 6 hours/week and sometimes we make 1 training (2 hours) extra ...
  5. ouh sorry than for my miss understanding... Wish you all the best... Samurai
  6. Hi TraditionalDan, first of all no ofense ... i will answer your question with an answer to an interview from my idol (Shihan Masahiko Tanaka - 8 DAN): " ... the Sensei is the mother and father of an student. In the moment in wich the student leaves his master/sensei, master/senei wich reised him, the student loses his honor. Nobody will appreciate him no matter were he will go everybody will say: "This is the student that leaved his master/sensei"... I say that you should stay in your club no matter what because your master no matter how he is he invested in you very much and with your stay in his club and letting him teach you and giving you his knowledge you will be appreciatet, not just in your karate but also in everything you will do in your life... Thats my oppinion, With Best Regards, Samurai
