  1. I'm no Ebert, but Mortal Kombat 2 sticks out in my mind as the single worst kicking movie I've ever seen. It has no competition that I've seen. Blade 2 comes close though, like when he elbow drops the guy from the top ropes and does a vertical suplex. They should have called it Blade is Raw or something so we would've been warned. The polar opposite of these movies is, however, one of my favorite movies from being young, SURF NINJAS!!!! (Man, brothas don't surf!)
  2. What about RIKI-OH!??!? I've never seen Chuck Norris get choked by another man's entrails before, have you? And has anybody seen Riki-Oh 2, by the way? I read about it in a magazine. The first one had an entire room full of my friends (that's like 7 people) rolling on the floor in front of the tube for an hour and a half. Pure cinema at its finest. Plus, one time I saw Chuck Norris in New Mexico at a movie theater and he signed autographs for these 3 or 4 people in front of me and then his bodyguard said he had to leave and go in the movie. It sucked. But oh well. At least I got to see old Walker in person...
  3. Thanks alot for your help. I know very little about exercise and it's nice to see your responses to my question, since I couldn't find any solid information on any websites I looked through. I'm going to try to make it to the kickboxing class as much as I can, and then wait a little while to incorporate the weights (at your advice). If I have any other queries, I'll be sure to return. How long have you all been in martial arts, by the way? =Ben=
  4. I recently started a kickboxing program that is 3 days a week, and I was wondering if weight training was recommended on all or some of the off-days. I wanted to weight train because I am small and relatively skinny, but I don't know much about the relationship between kickboxing and weight training and how often they should be done in correlation with one another. A few weeks ago I tried to work out with weights the day after the kickboxing class and found myself too sore to go back to kickboxing the next day. Any ideas?
