I think i can help. You can do a scooping throw on him if i can explain it to you. ok here goes Once he has grabbed you: Take your left leg and step out to your left with it. Take your right leg and bring towards your left leg, then bring it behind him. Lean over and grab his pants with each hand at his knees. Hold on and lean back. THIS SHOULD SLAM HIM. -
Everyone give a review of their favorite gi. Color and maker. Also list why you like this gi.

You can't say NHB's have nothing to offer. They are closer to most "fight"situations out there than any other competition. Also, I'm not agreeing with Tapout totally either. I believe that if you are a true master of your art you are at an equal skill level as other masters, but also take note that there is a PERFECT MARTIAL ART, know what it is............MMA.....Mixed martial arts. To be the best fighter, competitor, street survivalist, law enforcement agent, person, you have to be a well rounded individual. If you only face one direction, you never see the beauty behind you. If you were to go to war, as a soldier, would you only take one weapon. I would hope not. I would take a: rifle-to take out people at long range and to cover my friends, a pistol-just in case my rifle jammed, a knife-if i had to take someone out quietly, a grenade...................everyone get the point I train in traditional arts, and in combative arts. I know both sides, both are worthy and credible and deserve no ones slander.

ZakariRu,......that is not a fight, ok.....There is a difference between a self-defense situation and a fight. TRUE a self-defense situation wouldn't won't to be taken to the ground if possible. But a fight is different. A fight is a challenge "I PUT MY DUKES UP AND YOU PUT YOURS UP", between 2 people. How many people have you knocked out? Not many if any I would guess. On the other hand, I have put people to sleep with CHOKES. I'm not discrediting stand up fighting"AS YOU ARE GROUND FIGHING", In fact, I was the one that said, you have to know both to be a complete fighter. SO TO SUM IT ALL UP, Get your facts straight on self-defence and fighting aspects. And you can still come see me in MISSISSIPPI and see if grappling works after all. Also, how is STRIKING MORE PRACTICAL THAN GRAPPLING when you are shot from 20 feet away or when you are hit in the back of the head with a beer bottle?????????? -

Can anyone get me brazilian jiu-jitsu rank requirements for different belts, or tell me where I can find some. There are no official chapters in my area and I want to know what I need to be working on just in case I ever get to work with an actual BJJ instructor. I have a blackbelt in jujitsu(it is a cross between brazilian and japanese), so i'm not trying to fake my way thru it. I know a lot in the BJJ field, I just want to know where I stand. Thanks to all

well ZAKARIRU, i would be so humble as to invite you to my gym for a little 360 ROUNDHOUSE :pony: make you submit, even though she is a 5'6'' 125 pound lady. The point is that she has Jiu-jitsu on her side and that is all she needs to role past you big boy. Said with humility and not saying that i'm the toughest person here, for i know it not to be true sincerely Coltmakai age 20 male (definitely not a no-it-all)(always wishing to grow and learn from everyone) -
