  1. I know from personal experiance there is a difference between the do-jo and real life but how much of a difference? if u can see it coming ur safe u know exactly what to do. and I know what works All this fancy stuff is for show. You only need a good block and a good punch. The kicks and head level kicks and flying mega square carp 360, 720 kicks are only there to look good lol
  2. Sabotaged Sabotaged Sabotaged... (Musical theme)
  3. Yo Momma so fat she sat on a nintendo and made a gameboy! she s fat she jumped in the sea and the sea jumped out.
  4. I have found that 2. I thaught that it was just because people who do MA are usually respectfull. Ask yourself 1 question. How many poeple who do MA do you know that go out to harm people on purpose and start fights? Very few. People who do MA try to talk there way out of fights. It's the people in society who have a humungus chip on the shoulder that are nasty. Those people don't last long with people from MA. Finnally people who do MA show respect because they are used to being shown that in the Do-jo or training area respect goes a long wayand theese people take those ideals out of the Training area.
  5. After Watchin that video there is only 1 question i wanna ask What fighting style did that guy do? Boxing? They wearnt punches i have seen in a person doing MA Or is it just a guy who has done no MA?
  6. All sorts of strange stuff used to happen to me while I was training. Maybe my techniqe has got better and maybe i have just got fitter and better enabled for the training but I'd say dont worry give it a while and you will find it slowly go away...Luke
  7. You have been training for 6 years eh? well you can train on your own for a while i'm sure but you should really try to get back in although it sounds like you will if you can. Good look with that. I'd say get some training aids, kick bags, Makawara Boards and stuff to keep your training up you never know when you get back into TKD your class mates may be pleasently surprised that you are better than when you left.
  8. I never enter tourniments. dont know why bcause when we practise in class i do really well no matter what class i am in but i have found that i don't do anything because i can vary my techniques nomatter who they are.
  9. Awww bad look. luckilly touch wood I have never seriously hurt myself doin MA i hurt my knee onece and it took about 1/2 years to be bk 2 normal but when you get back into it it will be ok
  10. If you train when you are not wearing your "costume" you will learn what it feels like.
  11. I'd say learn to counter attack! I skit around a bit check them out see where they leave there arms out or do sumthing wrong and after about 1 minute i know what they are up to, what they like, what they cant do too well.
  12. in a fight there are 2 hits. You hit them they hit the ground. If they start on me they are taking there life in to there own hands. I dont go mad on them but they sure as hell won't be starting any time soon.
  13. I can't stand boxing. ther is no reality to it. in the street howmany people do you know that take blow after blow after blow and only fall when they are tired? if they did contender with loads of martial arts combined...sorta like tekken without the playstation. I remember there was 1 likle that on BBC3 ages ago but i dunno what it was called. Please somebody say you agree.
  14. No you show your sensei respect like you would anyother person. don't go calling him/her sensei in the street it's mr/ms is the street.
  15. come on. if anything atleast Kata looks good!!! i mean spinning jumping cocutsadach with an openhand block like in Empi or the wierd closed leg move in hangetsu. Plus Kata helps you to improve basics
  16. 1STLY: Tha brown belt should have known better doin that to a 2nd dan is suside whis is now a proven fact! lol 2NDLY: If a lower grade thinks they can pick on you they should be shot. or as the case may be with the current laws and such he should be shown the ropes (wink) but not that badly that he is shot across teh room. you tell them to stop and if they dont you worry them u no. stop ur fist 1mm b-4 u hit there nose and give them a light shot to the stomach to show them that you mean what u say!

  18. Ouch 15years. How do you do it. Cant live without Karate for 15days. lol but nyway if you havnt attended for 15 years i'd say go with the double gradings but be carefull it will be like starting from scratch so you may not get to grade all the time they may make u wait longer. But goodluck you deserve it! god 15 years...
  19. I go 2 maybe 3 times a week depending on the money and how i feel. but u should ask your sensei how offen you should train because in the karate style i do you have to do 12 classes and about 8weeks atleast between class 1 and grading. I suppose it depends on ur style.
  20. I just got 2 ask why the thing has come up as white belt. is it worked out on howmany posts you have or can you actually put in you real grade?
  21. Do any of u know the laws on nunchucks in the UK cuz i'm gonna get some nm what the laws r but i wanna know how carefull to be with showing them off. I only really intend to hang them up in my house and if i can get simple instruction off the web i will learn them a bit.
