  1. My friend I learned A Drunken Boxing form after 13 years of practicing the art, even if you were to fight an unscrupulous person to teach you a drunken form it would be useless to you, the precision and timing and difficulty of the forms are immense, and you will not find anyone to teach you a drunken form anyway.
  2. I am not trying to disprove this link and whether it works or not but i can tell you it is certainly not chi being used for the Ki Balls and the like. Chi is an INTERNAL force found only in ourselves, there is a chi produced from eating and sleeping, the scientific ways of producing energy, and a chi that passed on from our parents and has been there from the day we are born and will remain there until the day we die. It DOES NOT EXIST OUTSIDE THE BODY IT IS NOT AN "ETERNAL ENERGY" FOUND EVERYWHERE. as to whether "psi" exists i have no idea.
  3. to the guy who claims true shaolin isnt taught at the temple anymore, have you studied there? Do you know anyone who has? Have you ever met a Shaolin monk? you obviously havnt as you do not know what shaolin even is, please do not try and bluff knowing about this kind of thing as you do not
  4. i am a practitioner of tai chi chuan and qi gong all you people asking for proof of chi are engaging in a pointless activity go do some qi gong and try to feel your chi working inside of you and there will be your proof for those interested in its combat uses find a long term pracititioner of any decent kung fu system and ask him to show you his steel jacket and if his system uses gen or shock power then ask him to demonstrate that too
  5. Yes T'ai Chi Chuan is an inredibly effective means of self defense, with several years training, if you are thinking of joining a T'ai Chi club then don't expect instant results, the process of chi cultivation is arduous and takes practice and time and effort. I have been training in T'ai Chi for 22 years now, and when i spar with friends who practice in other martial arts such as taekwondo or shotokan and also chow gar, and i do not have difficulty winning, study T'ai Chi and see if you like it but don't practice it if you are a hotheaded teenager looking for combat skill, go do kickboxing
