By doing kata's in so many differerent directions (facing a different wall) as well as doing the katas left right forwards and backwards you can internalise them.... once you have done that then you can start to look at things like, softening the chest, sinking in the thigh, foot and hand timing, relaxing the shoulders, shorter kime.....ect Thats the way I have started doing it. and not just with kata also with basics and kumite. try doing you kumite when both sides have the same legs forward or the other way round (mabey even personal add on's) What do you think?
