  1. ok so i want to be able to do these i cant quite do them i try but i lose form then fall so i want some advice on how to get that little bit stronger so i can do them. thanks for the help
  2. ok so snapped my bone behind my little knuckle and it's all straped up, i only have 3 knuckles now. so any one got any advice how long before i can punch the bag full power i'm guessing about a year as i dont want it to keep re-breaking it sucks
  3. just sounds like ego to me. i guess the black belt got a ego bash because the brown belt got 1 in so he knocked the brown belt flying which resulted in his ego getting bashed seen this thing before. let them get on with it but out side the class then know body else is involved
  4. yeah i agree with that but some people say they make your knuckles big then some people say it gives you flat hands. i know the okinawans do them and walk on there knuckles. so i wanted to know what they really do just make the skin hard? big knuckles? flat knuckles?
  5. what do knuckle push ups really do to your knuckles? there is so many contradicting veiws i just want to know the truth. cheers

  7. What block would you use for a hook (that most people use when they dont know how to punch) punch? and what block would you use against a proper boxing hook a nice and tight one?
  8. i have some random bit of cartilige in my knuckle which want there 2 months ago it dont really hurt but it's not nice i think i bust me knuckle but then again surly that would of given me pain which i dint get .

    thanks for all your replies,i pretty much do every thing you all do but i also got a few idea's from the things i dont do. just wish i could go to the dojo more but the class is once a week then i travel 2hours to go to another class,so thats twice a week some of you are really lucky.

    how long do you practise each day? and what sort of stuff do you do? today i done about 45mins did some light streching then mawashigeri,mae geri and side snap kicks on the heavy bag,and quite alot of oi zucki and gyakuzuki on the bag too. not done to much today but i think i built up alittle power. what about your selfs?

Ok so i am thinking of starting some weight training to get me more conditioned but i dont want to bulk up really because i belive that this will slow me down. so my question is how many reps should i be doing? an what sort of weight i should be lifting, i know it's hard to say what weight i should be doing i am 6ft 2 an weigh 82kg if thats any help o and i am 20. thanks for you help in advance oh an what are the advantages to weights over restiance training with bands....ect
