if the school uses sashes, their systems will vary. I have seen schools where the second sash is orange. I have also seen schools that didn't even have an orange sash. on the same note i have seen them use no rank at all they say "you are what you are" lol i can bet that is frustrating

that will no doubt depend on your sifu some are ok with it others are not and by the way i have found uniforms of all styles at my local flee market

i am a mixed stylist and i find that kung fu has its strong points it is best mixed with other arts. i dont think anyone should confine themselves to one art or you will have this prob.

i have found that the more arts i learn the more i mix them together. i cant tell the difference any more . i dont think its a bad thing because i have learned to use the pros and avoid the cons of each art. anyway my question is does anyone else have this happen to them?

i dont think there is one art that is better than the other all have ups and all have downs

very funny i know the feeling and i have found that in time you will be happy for the pain you now know how much you can take

i am in the best shape of my life since i started martial arts training and before i had a bad attitude but that has changed as well so i belive that martial arts help you to be a better person all around
