On Halloween we were Sparring and doing self defences when our instructor sliped out of the room. He brought back a banana cream pie and when the asisstant instructor wasn't looking, he came up behind her and smashed the pie in her face! We all had a good laugh that night. If all you did was sparing and someone came at you with a knife and was going to kill you you dont kick him in the stumach and call point and he suddenly stops. he goes on and slits your neck. with forms you practice the RIGHT way to execute your techniqe. (comes up at top of head X block force knife out of hand (section of palwge chil-jang)

I was wondering if any dojo anyones been to has a goal book testing requirement? In our dojo its sort of a strength/endurance thing. like 2000 pushups 2000 situps 4000 kick punches 2mi in under 30 min. ect. I just wanted to ask to see if any other schools trained this way. and to make sure are dojo isn't wierd .

Hello everyone, sorry i havent been on in a while, been kinda busy. Anyways our school has recently added a new stlye to our original . The thing is im trying to look it up in the web for a little info but i do not know how to spell it . The style is pronounced (from what i know) (Sohn-aum) or (en-Wah) depends on the form ) does anyone practice that style, or at least know how to spell it? I would ask my instructor but the school is getting repaired and i have no clue how to contact him (about 200 last name Andersons in phone book) ( i know what a lot of your are thinking, what the heck, how are we supposed to help him out???)
