I started kickboxing about 3 months ago and was really enjoying it. The other night, training with a partner on focus mitts, I broke my wrist (scaphoid bone). I really want to continue with KB once it heals (2-6 months if I am lucky ), but it scared me how easily I got injured. Are my wrists just too weak to handle hard punching, or was this just bad luck? Has anyone here come back after a scaphoid break? I was training with wrapped hands, but no gloves. Would a pair of bag gloves have saved me? Any advise is appreciated. bummed, Dotc
