  1. My favorite block is the shotokan stomach block . I too make a fist before impact, but only for the first blow because I don't find the point of opening and closing my hand..
  2. I myself have never been in a real fight, but violence is never the answer if its not for self-defense reason, like...If you have absolutly no choice, robber with weapon...you already were attacked.
  3. Me three, that routine needs some work..... for example on your monday doing just abdominal workouts doesnt seem much... unless your going for a lot better abs or something, and you should be doing flexibilty workouts every-day. *Hint* *Hint* stretching before and after workouts.
  4. I am referring to running vertiaclly up about 3 steps and flipping off it does any1 have a site or something that can help me, because i failed googling
  5. I am not sure It looks fun so i want tolearn how
  6. Hi id like to know how to learn to run up a wall, what it takes basiclly, what you should practice, what parts of your body need to be strong please post
  7. no i dont want big muscles, i want overall muscle strength, without getting bulked up
  8. OH WHOOPS, I typed it up wrong over there, I meant if I was old enough to start, beacuse I don't want to deform my body or anything.
  9. All that I know is that shotokan is mostly defense based.
  10. wouldnt they help if you were to attack someones nose or somehing?
  11. so ur saying if i stay light weight dumbells, thats what i had in mind, like 10-15 pounds, it wont do anything or deform me
  12. If u have a punching pag, it would help u practice, if u take it slowly, and then speed up as u get better
  13. Ouch, that stuff happens a lot at my dojo, most of the incidents were due to poor technique, but it could just be a weak wrist.
