Hey I heard a really big tournament is going don in the NYC Big money

What primary styles are you guys thinking of working on

Well I would never use a nuke because it only take me out too so I would say a knife or a sword

I would hate too start my own ma org it only further seperates martial arts and artist from there original roots and standpoints

This is an old wise tale but if you are the pravoker in the fight then......... yeah you could get in seriose trouble if you have an red, orange, or black belt and the guy has no belt. But there is nothing in the law that says you cant defend yourself from an attacker In my dojang my instructor stresses on how too defend yourself physically and financialy if it comes too court My instructor says that if Im in the mall or somekind of public place and I fell that there is no way I can get out of the fight, then I am too show him and everyone else around me that I am trying too diffuse that situation. If worse comes too worse I must fight

thats total crap how do you qualify and can other martial artist from other styles like karate and TKD compete aswell

My instructor has expierienced some racisim in the past and some still today, just three weeks ago I brought some kid from school too see how they would like too join or not. When I brought him over he was very upset too learn that my instructor was african american and so was the majority of others were aswell. The next day I was at a corner with my friends talking and over heard him speaking about my school saying, "Man way too many black guys there, they think there all tough", I stopped talking too him after that and I think he knows why

well what I think out of this is that the media has a great deal with swaying peoples opinions on arts such as TKD In my honest opinion I think that its just that people dont like TKD at all, maybe its because of the different orginizations that TKD has but if it is they are relly missing out Even though it is true that no matter what federation you are looking at or study it is the fastest growing art out there.

Well if this is an open style tournamnet that is open to all styles and schools then you should even be ready for the schools that offer all of the above it might be hard too tell where exactly he is coming from

well the reason i think TKD would go good wuth Aikido is because the stances roll well eachother

Well if i were to cross train in the martial arts, what style would you put with TKD and why Also tell me what styles do you cross train in and why I think TKD and Aikido could go well What my friend doese is TKD and Judo which in my opinion issnt the best combination of art.

Another method I do is simpaly display confidance in yourself walk like you have somewhere to go and just look busy, and try to look happy as much as possible And if they try too get you on a emotional level just smile and say, "O.K, have a nice day " that can get people on many levels

Do you meen food venders or do you meen souvenears? Because if you are talking about buying items like swords and stuff, no way The last tournament I went too was to just watch my friend compete, They were selling katana swords there to kids that were 16 years old and not checking I.D At all
