yes our orginization doesnt really teach katas till green belt , but then we have 2 katas to learn for most ranks

well... choices.. sallen s-7 one of the fastes out there. but what about bikes? thats wat i use in summer, cheap, fast good gas milage...who could ask for more? and no car can beat a good bike in acceleration unless your willing to spend a 100,000 or more.

paintball! my 2nd favorite past time! i have a tippman 98 cusatom with vertical feed and response trigger and teardrop 14inch barrel. its the best gun for the price.

ya that helps i just was thinking about how one seems definatly faster than the other.

has anyone else noticed the differences of these styles? Since ive been studying both for a long time now ive noticed how shorin ryu in general is quicker than Goju ryu, and has less power. then looking at the O-sensi's of each, Chojun Miyagi is a big man, while Chotoku Kyan is a smaller man. i notice that what the O-sensi's were like makes a big difference in there styles. anyone else?

with goju ryu and shorin ryu(others may find it different) ive found that its strait to the point with out the flashyness, and its worked the one or two times that ive ever needed it.

for us tensho isnt in the regular katas, but in our research katas for all ranks at black belt you need to learn two katas not in our dojos main katas, or research katas. tensho is very fun, i even tried using it in a tournement once. its not very useful as a tournement kata in my opinion. safia is taght at brown belt level.

i think that there is much prestige in a blackbelt, or in mine atleast, because i worked very hard to acheive it.

ok here it is. One of them (my sensi is not sure which) was made by myagi and the other by hegiona sensi, myagi's teacher.

im not sure ill ask my sensi tommorow and get back to you but it is the same exept when your going up the middle to punches and blocks then a turn, then you turn back and continue basicly im not going to go into details.

for us we wear a black skirt thingy when we are blackbelts

i do goju ryu and i know its in our system, and also sanchin ne or sanchin 2? its a fun one.
