  1. dont worry, it was more like kidding than a joke tho .
  2. "That's something to seriously consider here. Theatrics can get you killed. It's as foolish as showing your cards in a poker game. If they know what you have, they know whether to up the ante or fold. If they can up the ante, you can be sure they will, and two bullet holes in your forehead really isn't such an attractive thing. " said my black belt friend up there, yea i tell my apprentices that, always hold pseudo at the begining of any situation, dont look like you know what your doing, that way they always underestimate you and think you just gonna throw wild punches. actually those haymakers wernt that wild, he used a lion hand which is actually usefull, try it sometime fist is open to the first knuckle only you use it as a slap . i call it lion hand because i dont know the real style and it reminds me of a lion slashing his claws at another lion. and you never know, he could actually of just won that fight. adaptation, i doubt thats the only thing he can do.
  3. i guess i might aswell reply to my own freekin topic lol. i think he is a martial artist through the effectiveness and confidence of his technique. and the 11year old is amazing
  4. can someone please explain this martial art?! lol im starting it soon because i dont know anything about it and would love to try it out, i heard its very arty and elegant. sounds good. someone tell me about this, ile be learning the 5 styles of shaolin.
  5. http://www.m90.org/view_image.php?image_id=105 http://www.m90.org/view_image.php?image_id=6084 ouch that guys head must hurt.
  6. and this is exactly the reason i keep my signature as "keep death in mind" also similar to the phrase "always get used to death" as a greatly respected samurai once said to his son. you never know when your last fight is, it might be the one you are in so strike and win and show that you are worthy of dieing a martial artist. if you die in a fight let it be the greatest fight you ever fought, and do not fear the inevitable. ive actually been mugged 3 times, this area is very bad for muggings and rapings and ive handled all to the best of my ability, one i done a step sidekick while he was slightly facing away putting both his hands in the opposite side pocket, i expected a knife because i see this situation alot, so i used my full strength and broke his ribs and knocked him out, somehow i hit his liver poor guy, i was nearly prosecuted for this. i stayed there untill the police show up kneeling on his back, his friend ran away (typical low class street petit criminals). it was lucky he really did have a knife and his friend ran away otherwise i would of been 'done' for assault. word of advice: a mugging usually starts with them asking for something pointless like a lighter or the time while standing in front of you. and watch out for there hands in there pockets.
  7. Kickboxing, thai boxing, ju jitsu, boxing.
  8. what does the martial art you follow teach you over all and help you with in life, and even more what does it ultimatly mean to you? just a oportunity to really express your feelings about ART. to me it is something beautiful created and creative. something that could save my life. something to give me satisfaction of life and love of the oxygen my lungs take in. something amazing i can carry with me no matter where i go. and i will probably add more in later.
  9. HEY! finally got back on lol. the name pseudonaja means Fake Cobra and it just seems good for this art. this constists of so much i wouldnt be able to put it all down in here. History: i started kickboxing when i was young and seemed to have picked up the aggression, though i think i was born with it. also ive always felt asif elegance can cut the butter better so i always seemed to enjoy moving smoothing when i was fighting, i enjoyed pushing my body to its limits and loved learning techniques from all my friends who do ju jitsu and karate. my kickboxing instructor then seemed to disapear off the face of the earth which was very annoying! so i started practicing at home which made me practice basically every day and i started wondering why the hell i didnt do this in the first place, and because it was in my own time i was training while my passion for it was at its highest. i then started following my own kind of spirituality i feel connected with nature and feel it has all the answers. so i started watching things like little fires i started developing styles that resembled it, asin it flickers and gets violent when you move it throught the air so my style based on that has a concept of moving a striking and i started getting really good at these and when i was sparing with my friends it became very easy to beat them and get hits in very clean and easy. then i started taking other elements. not earth because its just still. but then i started learning about kung fu how they use animals and studdied it for 3 years solid.. im starting it soon by the way . and it went on from there. now i have wind fire water birch pseudo for those of you who want to know about my style. pseudo<< - concept of fakies, decieving and expressional lies (street wise concept) and ground wrestling. fire<< - movement while striking, alot of moving right and striking left.. it actually works better than most people would think. ive actually ended up right behind someone on the way round connecting a knee to the chest and being perfectly able to do whatever i want from behind. (takes alot of stamina to keep this up in training, moving while comboing burns energy but is really useful when it comes to someone who does kickboxing or any other stand still kind of martial arts. birch<< - very drunken boxing with no head guards and no direct blocks just evasive (alot of stretching needed to practice this) and all strikes are dead weight strikes and offen open hand strikes and first knuckle skull crackers . tom socked me with this style right in the head while i was using fire.. who ever said fire could win over wood . not when its birch wood it cant. wind<< - this is full of personal beliefs i use in preperations stretches slow dances slow moving katas meditation perfecting movement by doing it very slowly, this really is effective after about a week u notice you feel alot more comfurtable with moves you found quite odd to do with you body. water<< - interception techniques, ONLY defence moves. similar to aikido moves, was actually alot harder to learn than i thought but as usual when your working with your own body and your own art it comes quite quickly. also the moves are singular hardly in any combos over 3 strikes and most are just to twang there nervs a little bit, the pressure points under the bicep kind of strikes . oh yes, you can mix these styles with each other. and end up with interesting fights. i got tom to try birch and water and i had dead muscles after it, he is really accurate with his freekin fingers then again hes done karate and multiple other styles for over 11 years :Plol. if you want to know more blackbirds87@hotmail.com
  10. when in a unpredictable situation do you feel it is acceptable to kill. this is something my friends and i have been debating alot recently. do you do it before they take the knife out even tho they might not have one, or once they take out the weapon in which it may be too late?
  11. hey just put in some hints and tips, things you have personally learnt in experiance.
  12. i am fine with my muscle amount and strength. heres my details, someone who knows what they are talking about please help lol. height; 6ft weight; 18 stone notes; firm arms, firm chest, firm legs. someone help me lose my body fat, its around my waist under my belly button mainly, i think its something to do with the scar from my belly button around the front of my belly maybe damaging the muscle tissue underneith, its from a operation.
  13. also, practicing as a part of your life gets you learning something new every day you try it. not just as a part of a class, i can do it when my passion for it is at its maximum, sometimes i go out at 1 or 2 in the morning to soak up the atmosphere of calm and usually meditate a little bit before practicing my wrath kata and my own little tradition i have of preparation and and control of my own mind. i attend a gym on mondays, wednesdays, fridays.
  14. understandable. i trained in kickboxing for 4 years untill i realised once they taught me the concept all the rest seemed very easy to put together and it just worked. i could beat my trainer/teacher/sensai asif he was a novice. i studdy everything i can find, using the internet and books and my own body. kickboxing taught me how to kick and punch and aim my attacks. i am 18 years old. you would have to read a biography to not be skeptical i think . robert is my best friend and he teaches karate that actually teaches parts of aikido, ju jitsu and multiple others and i trained with him privately, but not paying just 2 friends teaching each other and sharing ideas. his dad who originally taught him asked me to join his karate class multiple times stating that i have better technique than most of his blackbelts and saying he needed someone like me in the class. im very very determined but calm and i dont give up. ive spent alot of time adapting concepts to my passion which is art and loving body manipulation. changing your opppnents direction of weight and joints. i have a firm spiritual belief in karma and also meditate kuji-in style. im 100% martial art and martial artists i know agree. its in my heart i cant stop doing it. ide love to be able to show you all a sample!!!
  15. i know only 1 person who has ever used this in the street and he got a clean roundhouse in but got a knife in his shin then got stabbed in the inner thigh then beaten up. altho he was red belt. would you say you are comfurtable enough to use this in a very unpredictable situation? (other types of martial artist welcome to talk about their martial art and using it in the street)
