Kung Fu schools never spar, and I don't know why. Or at least not as much as Karate schools. And since it is a Karate competition, i would like to get hands on experience on the rules etc. Because the two styles are different. I am looking for Karate, TKD students. Since not a lot of Kung Fu students join these events in the Bay Area. Thank you.

Hi, I am a kung fu style student. I have never spar with anyone before. I am thinking about entering a Karate competition because it seems kinda fun. I was hoping I can match up with a Karate student so I can practice a little. I am chinese, 28 years old. 5 foot 7, 140 pounds. Anyone in San Francisco area would be interested??
