  1. Ive been doing alot of searching and research on sbd and tsd. SO far every where Ive saerched Ive found ALOT of info on Tang Soo Do And very little if not none on SoO BAhk Do. Im starting to wander if I should maybe look for a Tang Soo Do Dojo. Does anyone know why I find 90% more info on Tang vs. Soo Bahk? I really love what Im in now but im really confused on why theres just such little info on it, like tang soo is better or somthing.
  2. White belt w/blue stripe 9th gup Soo Bahk Do And love every bit.
  3. I voted great because every time I attend a lesson I get so wore out form learning new moves or perfecting old ones. Not to mention my abs are killing me from the warm ups.
  4. Cool thanks for the replies you answered my guestion with even more usefull info. Thanks again.
  5. Wow this is really good info. If any one else knows anything please add in.
  6. Why is the time limit so important? I dont mind waiting cause i love tending class and learning but If you can do the requierments (CORRECTLY) (forms, cross hand grabs, sparring, breaking) then why is time so important? Or is the time thing more of a guidline rather than a rule?
  7. I ve done the sparring, Form, The wrist grab thing and alot of blocking exercises but he really did put me up to a specific test except for the form. other than that hes just been keeping a good eye on me. He did say orange belt does take a while to get though, like 4 months atleast after your stripe. So Im wandering if alot of the stuff Ill have to demonstrate for orange.
  8. Thanks for all of your help guys. I'm starting to get my stances a lil more correct. My punches are more solid and my front kicks are straighter/harder. One more question. What are the requierments for each belt so I can get an Idea and start practicing. I dont always Have time to make it to class so the more i know the better. Its also hard to get 1 on 1 with my instructer to teach me things i need to know to advance and better what I already know. Any websites with this information would be great. Do you guys think my test for 9th gup(white belt with blue stripe) was too easy or it that pretty satndard? Just torefresh my was to perform Basic form # 1 (Kicho Hyung Il Bu)
  9. TSD YO49 was right and I tested for it and passed. Im now a white belt with a stripe (9thgup). My master says in 3 1/2 months i can test for my orange belt (8th gup) if Im ready. But I know Im definatly going to the nationals to compete as a white belt in july. Right now I guess i just know basic moves (low ,high block, middle punch, front kick, side kick, round house kick.) Im satisfied for what i know so far and am really happy with the style I chose. Yeah!!!
  10. I was wandering what the moves are so I can get an I dea a practice a little for tomorrow.
  11. Correct Jinxx0r. Also I have to perform Basic form #1 before My master will award me the white Belt. Im hopping to earn my white belt very soon.
  12. Wow thank you. I found out my schools colors are White orange green red Mid Night Blue Not sure of when the stripes are added. My instructor said 4 months between test. Ive only been to two classes and love it.
  13. I know this question is played out but can someone explain the belt order of Soo Bahk Do And how long it takes to achieve each one. My instructor tells me this is one of the best karate style to study, is this true? By the way i did a search for belt order and did not see any for soo bahk do. Thanks.
