Does any one know what KOEI KAN KARATE focuses on? Is it well rounded? I'm looking to get into some MMA type training and am looking for an art with striking and grapbling. Expecially grappling as it is what I'm most natural at. THanks guys!
Could you guys tell me a good workout for the heavy bag? I haven't really been able to find anything great myself. I'm 6'2" 200lbs and in good shape, if that has any bearing at all. I suppose my goal would be to improve my overall stand-up fighting ability and get into better shape. Thanks!
Okay, that does make sense. At this dojo when you take their classes they said you learn Karate, Jiu Jitsu, Iaido and Buki Jutsu. I know what all the other ones are but what's Buki Jutsu by the way. Thanks again guys.
I'm not a complete newbie to martial arts as I studied American style Karate for many years. I got bored of it because it's movements were to "cookie cutter". I don't mean to make any Karate people out there mad I'm just saying what I expercanced. I was wondering what style I should now study? Mainly for street style defence. I'm considering Vale Tudo. Any comments would be appreated. I would like as much information about as many different styles as possible. Thanks in advance!!
