Laziness and martial arts dont mix very well. (just to show them) when your sparring, and they're feeling lazy, beat the snot out of them, im sure they'l change their attitudes, if its the warm ups theyre felling lazy with, advise them, without stretching and warming up, they could seriously injure themselves, or you. and i wouldnt want to be injured, just because my partner was being lazy and pestimistic.

i dont really think its "whats better" they are the same, if you have macho headgear and someone hits you in the head, you arent going to get brain damage, if you have century headear you arent going to get brain damage, its all bout the fit and the shape of your head, so you cant really ask people about what fits them better, it wont work for you, and i wouldnt advise you buying off of the internet, you should go to a store and try some on, get a tight fit, but not too tight, if someone that had sparring gear, and wouldnt mind going with you, let them help you pick some out. You get what you pay for.

there is actually 2 people using this on my user name... my little sister too, shes just starting out, im already into my 3rd year, doing shotokan, she likes to ask alot of questions, from now on, ill specify whos asking from now on, haha this is me now. and i asked about the bo staff, they teach you alot of hits and blocks and things, but they never teach you to spin it, and when i try, i whack myself in the face with it. haha i was just wondering if anyone had any tips, on, not, whacking yourself in the face lol... i play the drums so i can spin it around my fingers really fast, but with the longer bo staff, i just end up hitting myself.

does anyone know how to spin a bo staff??? like fast and without hitting yourself in the face? lol.... if you do, could you please give me a good explination lol.

they dont work, i have one at my gym, they dont work AT ALL!! just stretch everyday.

i missed 2 classes, we generally learn alot in ourclasses, but i missed a few things, so i want to go ont the internet to find some pictures of kicks and punches, so i dont have to drag my instructor to the side and be a hassle for him because i neglected to come. is there any good websites like that you guys know of???

hahaha that would be funny, there might be some for sale on the internet or something. if you have the time to look, in all of the womens sections. dont buy a red belt and wreck it.. lol cause youll have to buy a red and a white belt, just to make a pink one.

Ananku means peace or safety from the south. The kata was developed as part of the Tomari-Te system and during the 1900's, was further passed on by Shoshin Nagamine (born 1907) and the Matsubayashi Ryu style. The kata emphasizes both offensive and defensive moves from a deap forward leaning stance (front leg bent). OH MAN OH MAN! this lockout is the stupidest thing ive ever heard of, its a stupid dispute at our expense, whatever, atleast we get to see the littleguys play, just gives them a chance to be seen, and they dont get payed half what the nhl guys get payed! they do it for the love of the game! hahaha anybody else have anything to say about this lockout!!??? BRING BACK THE NHL!!
