  1. I was wondering if anyone had any tips to help me with my high section kicks? Especially turning kick (Roundhouse). I can bearly get to high section once but after chambering back my leg drops to middle section. I am short so most of my kicks that go to someones mid section is a low high section kick to me.. Any help on maybe my flexability and strengh training or technique I would be greatfull...

  6. fangshi you are right there is no excuse for not staying in shape. It is probably a depression or frustration thing.. I am not a excersize nut so when I started tkd I found out how much i loved everything about it, I started really enjoying practicing all the time. Which in turn is serious excersizing.. But like i said you are right no excuse for it.. I think it is getting better though.. It has been 2 weeks now for sure and I am still walking gingerly but I think it is coming around.. I am suppose to have testing this weekend but I think I will wait untill next time.. I can always get better anyway.. Thank you all for the help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. I was wondering if anyone had any tips on performing a quick hook kick?? My hook kick is very slow and I am afraid my flexabilty is to blame.. I have been working hard on that aspect but my problem comes in with my hip motion.. I have been going slow through the motions to learn the proper technique now for some time. Moving fast it just seems like I have no follow through... Any help would be apprectiated

I am guessing that Hoshinsool is a style of Hapkido, but I don't know for sure.. Can anyone clear this up for me?? Thank You
  12. I have bubble wrap in my shoe during the day when i am on my feet and it seems to help.. I had a feeling this was going to be a slow heeling process.. I am getting lazy and out of shape from sitting out.. Thank you!!!
  13. I am 27 years old and have been practicing tkd for just over 2 years now. So I am a novice, but my question is has anyone out there had a bruised heel?? I am talking about the sole of the heel.. I landed on it very hard about 2 weeks ago and the recovery is very slow going.. I still have full range of motion with no discomfort but if i walk on it putting the slightest pressure on it it hurts... I am wondering is there anything i can do to help the heeling besides rest.. Any advice would be appreciated and welcome.. Thank you!!!
