  1. apparently.... sshhhh... you think he/she/it could fill us in or something, at least...
  2. Yes and no and either way its dangerous. if you overload your joints you will tear them. How strong you are has nothing to do with this. To much weight will damage your arms. If you want to use wrist weights, start off with one or two pounds per arm and work that way. work a punching bag or use them when you spar. Then after you've used them for a few months and you've gained speed, go up a HALF POUND. or something like that
  3. I'm not too sure if would go and learn from him. He may have the motions down, but there is something to say about wisdom and age. Martial arts is not just about the Skills, its about the journey... this kid's journey is about as long as my driveway... and thats short.
  4. I've sparred black belts in the past... It is very humbling. I think everyone should do it at least once. The BB i am sparring has loads of control. I feel bad for him.... i might end up hurting him. LOL but i hope not.
  5. i dunno... i don't think my GF would like that very much.... Just an "I feel your pain" will suffice...
  6. ouais je connais mais il la seule manière que je peux vous parler d'une manière dont est rapide bientôt nous aura les traducteurs universels ainsi nous pouvons écarter des idées plus faciles... ceci est juste la première étape.
  7. Yes, i would to see my * get handed to me... I try and record them to the computer and put them on the internet for your enjoyment.
  10. The tournament is In March (21-22) but i'm training from now until then with Her father....
  11. Je suis un Américain. Je ne parle pas français. Je parle anglais. Pourquoi sont les Américains dégoûtant. Picoseconde - babelfish d'amour de I.
  12. I rocked this test... Master Collins (the guy in charge of all the TSDMDK ITF dojangs in michigan) ask me and a guy named Harold to do our forms in front of the class and the other Dans. He told us we had the best forms and we did Excellent! I feel great!!
  13. LOL... he can run faster... i'd rather face him like a man...

  17. (We have two side kicks so far) The first one we learn is the Side kick in a horse ride stance. We kick with our front leg. in order to do that, you need to bring your back leg up while you are chambering your front leg for the kick and then land back in a horse ride stance. The other one is a side kick with the back leg.
  18. For the money, i heard fake mahogeny was the way to go. But cremation would be also a way to go... because i will have no decernable human remains aways, it'll be easier to burn... no sence in using a casket for a pile of human flesh and bone....
  19. Nice... I really hope she feels bad for me... but i could've asked to spar her... she is a green belt... LOL
  20. Well there are certain moves that require the horse ride stance... such as the slide-up side kick. It also builds the muscles.. however, at my weight (230LBs) it is incredibly painful to be in for a while without moving. But it helps. The Slide up side kick is the only move i know tha requires the horse ride stance, but many iL Soo Siks require the horseride stance... mainly 1&2 (that i know so far)
  21. BUMP this forum... my girlfriend's father loves hearing this stuff. I will take a beating for all Daughter's boyfriends... this buds for you...
